Matt Donovan is joining Raytheon Technologies as Vice President of Customer Engagement and Solutions, effective August 23.
“Matt brings a wealth of experience and understanding to his distinguished civilian and military service,” said Roy Azevedo, president of Raytheon Intelligence & Space.
Donovan most recently served as Deputy Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, and before, as Acting Secretary of the Air Force.
He also served as Under Secretary of the Air Force, held senior positions on the Senate Armed Services Committee, and held various civilian positions for the Air Force. Donovan retired from the Air Force as a colonel after 31 years of active enlisted service and officer.

Donovan received and honored the Secretary of Defense Medal for Distinguished Public Service, Air Force Decoration for Exceptional Civilian Service, Defense Senior Service Medal, Legion of Merit, Medal for Air Achievement and the Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
He will be part of the Raytheon Intelligence & Space management team and will report directly to Azevedo.
